By making an application for a firefighter position, you will be required to commit to the dates detailed below as you move through each stage of the process.
Stage 1: Written application
- Applications for recruit Squad 53 are now open and will close on 27 July 2025.
- Apply through NTG jobs
Stage 2: Beep Test
- Dates: Darwin 09/08/2025 & Alice Springs 16/08/2025

Stage 3: Cognitive and Psychometric Assessment
- Open for a 4 day period 28/8/2025 - 31/8/2025
Stage 4: Physical Aptitude Test (PAT)
- Dates: Darwin 4/10/2025 & Alice Springs 11/10/2025
