The Northern Territory Police Force are investigating a death in Alice Springs.

At 4.05pm today, police responded to a report of a deceased man being located on a track a short distance from Undooyla Road.

The man has yet to be identified and at this stage the cause of the death is unknown.

A crime scene has been established and detectives from Crime and Intelligence Command are investigating.
