Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated assault that occurred in Alice Springs early this morning.

Around 2:45am, Police received a report of a disturbance at a licenced premises on Barret Drive. During the incident, a 20-year-old female was involved in an altercation with three other females when a fourth female allegedly knocked her to the ground. The offenders then repeatedly assaulted the 20-year-old victim, with one allegedly using a broken glass resulting in a significant laceration to the victim’s face.

Police and St John Ambulance attended, and the victim was treated at the scene before being conveyed to Alice Springs hospital.

The offenders remain outstanding.

Investigations are ongoing.
