Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to a stolen motor vehicle in Tennant Creek overnight.

Around 11:55pm, police received reports that a white Toyota Hilux had allegedly been stolen from a medical facility on Irvine Street. It was then used to ram through the facility gates and flee the location.

The vehicle then was observed driving dangerously through Tennant Creek, with the offenders subsequently abandoning it on Whippet Street and fleeing the scene on foot.

Investigations are ongoing.
