Northern Territory Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Wadeye yesterday.

Around 5.45pm, police received a report of a single vehicle crash approximately 5kms south of Wadeye. The vehicle was occupied by three adults and one youth.

Wadeye police members and local clinic staff attended, and a 28-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The two other adult occupants were conveyed to the community clinic for assessment. The 10-year-old youth was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital as a precaution via Care Flight.

A crime scene was established, and the Major Crash Investigation Unit are investigating.
