Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to two stolen motors vehicles that were sighted driving dangerously in Alice Springs overnight.

Around 11.50pm, police received a report of two vehicles, a white Toyota Hilux and a white Nissan Navara, driving erratically in the Alice Springs CBD. Both vehicles were later identified as being stolen earlier in the night from a residence in Sadadeen.

Police attempted to engage the vehicles, however, did not continue with a pursuit as one vehicle allegedly swerved towards police in a dangerous manner.

The Hilux was later located abandoned in Araluen and the Navara was located abandoned in The Gap.

The offenders are yet to be identified and remain outstanding.
