Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery last night in Alice Springs.

Around 1.30am, police received reports that five offenders had unlawfully entered the rear of a licensed premises on Palm Circuit, Ross. Once inside, the offenders have armed themselves with multiple knives stolen from the kitchen.

The five offenders have threatened 3 staff members, demanding money.

The offenders have stolen money from the till before fleeing out the back door, over the back fence and into a White Toyota Hilux before driving away.

Alice Springs General Duties, Strike Force Viper and Southern Investigations attended the location and a crime scene was declared.

Southern Investigations now have carriage of the matter and investigations are continuing.
