Northern Territory Police have charged a 30-year-old man following a domestic violence incident in Malak early yesterday morning.

Detectives from the Northern Domestic Violence and Sex Crimes Division are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident and thank the public for their assistance so far.

The man has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Breach Domestic Violence Order and Escape Custody and is scheduled to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
