Call for information – Aggravated assault – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated assault that occurred on Sunday evening in Alice Springs.

Around 7.20pm, it is alleged two females were involved in a physical altercation in a restaurant carpark on the corner of Todd Street and Stott Terrace. During the altercation, a 15-year-old female was allegedly stabbed with an edged weapon in the back.

She was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for treatment after suffering serious injuries.

The incident remains under investigation and Northern Territory Police are calling for anyone with further information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, to make contact on 131 444.
