Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a vehicle was stolen from Nightcliff overnight.

Around 11:25pm, police received reports that a silver Hyundai Accent (registration CC68TE)  was stopped by a group of 3 unknown males at a residence on Litchfield Court, Nightcliff.

The group allegedly threatened the 3 occupants of the vehicle with a knife, before one of the offending group punched one the occupants and stole a quantity of cash from his person.

The offending group then stole the vehicle and fled the scene.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident are investigating and are urging anyone with information, particularly if you have information on the vehicles movements and location, to contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference 10351564.
