Charges – Unlawful entry – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police arrested multiple youths in Alice Springs following two unrelated unlawful entries.

At 5:45am on Friday, security officers notified police that a business was being unlawfully entered on Bath Street in Alice Springs.

Police attended and arrested two male youths who caused extensive damage to the building.

The 13-year-old was charged with multiple property offences and will appear at a later date. The 12-year-old will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act 2005.

At 8:10pm yesterday, three youths, aged 11, 13 and 14, were arrested inside a business that was unlawfully entered on Brown Street at Ciccone.

The youths allegedly tried to enter a safe within the vicinity; however, were unsuccessful.

All three males will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act 2005.
