Northern Territory Police are calling for information after two ram raids in Darwin overnight.

At 3am, police received reports that a stolen blue Toyota Fortuna was used in a ram raid at a business on Knuckey Street, Darwin. Up to 5 unknown offenders have unlawfully entered the business and stolen cigarettes before fleeing the scene.

An hour later, the same vehicle was used in another ram raid at a business on Howell Street, Berrimah. A quantity of cash was stolen from the premises before the offenders fled the scene.

The vehicle may have also been involved in an attempted unlawful entry at a business on Virginia Road, Virginia at 4:50am.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident are investigating the incidents.
