Northern Territory Police have arrested two youths after an aggravated robbery in Palmerston earlier today.

At 12:10pm, police received reports that two males, aged 10 and 11, entered a business on Essington Ave, Gray. The youths have allegedly threatened an employee with scissors before stealing a quantity of cash and fleeing the scene.

A short time later, the youths were arrested by Palmerston General Duties where they remain in custody.

Both are expected to be charged by detectives from the Serious Crime Unit at a later date. 

Investigations remain ongoing.
