Northern Territory Police are on scene investigating a single vehicle crash near Jabiru in which a man has died.

Territory Duty Superintendent Drew Slape said, “Emergency services were alerted just after 6am when a passing motorist came across a wrecked car on Oenpelli Road about 10km north of Jabiru.

“On attendance, the crew from Jabiru Fire Station located the body of a 32-year-old man. It is believed he was the sole occupant of the vehicle.”

The Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating and Oenpelli Road is closed to traffic while the scene is processed.
