Charges – Aggravated assault – Freds Pass

Northern Territory Police have charged a 16-year-old male in relation to an assault at Freds Pass yesterday morning.

At around 5.40am, a 92-year-old man was seated in a stationary vehicle when the youth has approached the vehicle and allegedly punched the man several times, causing substantial injuries.

The man was taken to Palmerston Hospital for treatment.

The youth was arrested at the scene and has been charged with aggravated assault. He has been remanded in custody to appear in Court tomorrow.
