Northern Territory Police have charged two men, aged 20 and 57, for drug related offences.
On Friday 30 October 2020, members executed a search warrant at a residence in Katherine. During the search, police located:
- a sawn off 410 shotgun with serial numbers removed
- a crocodile skull and skin
- fireworks
- 130 grams of cannabis
- $9610 in cash
The 20-year-old man was charged with:
- possession of schedule 2 dangerous drug traffickable quantity
- supply a schedule 2 dangerous drug
- possessing property from the Commission of an Offence
- possess drug paraphernalia
- possess protected animal
The 57-year-old man was charged with:
- possession of a schedule 2 dangerous drug traffickable quantity
- supply a schedule 2 dangerous drug
- possessing property from the Commission of an Offence
- possess drug paraphernalia
- possess firearm while unlicensed
- fail to meet storage requirements for a firearm
- possess a prohibited firearm
- possess firearm with altered ID marks
- possess protected animal
- possess fireworks
Both men will appear in Katherine Local Court today.
