A 34-year old man has died after a single vehicle crash approximately 70 kilometres west of Katherine earlier this morning.

At around 4:45am, police received a report of a vehicle rollover. Emergency service crews attended. Sadly the man died at the scene.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash.

The Victoria Highway has been reopened to road users.
