Detectives from Strike Force Trident have arrested a 25-year-old man for property offences.

Police allege the man committed the offences between 30 July and 21 December 2019. The incidents include a taxi fare evasion, theft from a motor vehicle and the use of stolen credit cards.

The man was located by police at 3:00pm yesterday and taken into custody.

He has been charged with:

• 12x obtain benefit by deception
• 1x stealing
• 1x fail to pay taxi fare
• 1 breach domestic violence order

He will appear in Darwin Local Court today.
