A 22-year-old man and two female youths aged 14 and 15 were apprehended early this morning by police.
At about 3.45 police responded to a call from a resident that a suspicious person was inside a yard in Clarence Street, Leanyer. The caller kept an eye on this person until police arrived and a further two people were located in the yard.
The three were arrested along with some allegedly stolen property including a bottle of wine, soft drink cans, rubber gloves and a torch. All three were conveyed to the Darwin Watch House where they will be interviewed later today.
Investigations are continuing to determine where the property was stolen from.
