Police have apprehended a 19-year-old male in relation to drugs found in a search conducted at approximately 4:20 pm yesterday.
A member patrolling the streets witnessed the driver of a Holden Commodore Station Wagon acting suspiciously whilst travelling along Trower Road.
The vehicle containing four occupants was subsequently stopped on Marsh Street in Millner.
The driver was subjected to a road side breath test, indicating a positive result, shortly before fleeing the area.
Members apprehended a 19-year-old male passenger and conducted a body search, locating 90 grams of cannabis and a sum of money.
A struggle ensued between the attending members and the male.
He was later charged with resisting police and drug related offences and was bailed to appear in court on 5 February.
Enquiries are continuing to locate the driver of the vehicle.
