Members of the Commander's Tactical Team are investigating the theft of a Yamaha Rhino all terrain vehicle valued at $19 000 and a Yamaha 25hp outboard motor valued at $4 000 from Surf Life Saving NT located on Maria Liveris Drive, The Gardens.

It is believed the unlawful entry occurred sometime between Thursday 8 January and Monday 19 January this year. The items were stolen from three yellow 20 foot locked shipping containers located at the northern end of Mindil Beach and it appears a grinder or similar implement was used to cut through the locking bars.

Police are appealing for anyone with information in relation to this incident to call 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
