Ramingining Police have seized approximately $50 000 worth of Kava after intercepting a flight at Millingimbi yesterday afternoon.

They arrested a 36-year-old man after locating approximately 60 kilograms of Kava inside a number of small suitcases.

He has been charged with possessing a commercial quantity of Kava and was bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on 4 March.
