Police have arrested a 37-year-old male in relation to drugs found in Katherine today.

Detectives from the Katherine Substance Abuse Intelligence Desk in conjunction with the Dog Operations Unit conducted a search on a bus travelling to Darwin and located 85.3 grams of cannabis in luggage.

A 37-year-old male was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of a trafficable quantity of cannabis and bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court 20 February.
