At approximately 5.55 pm a 42-year-old male was detected traveling at 152 km/h in an 80 km/h zone by a speed camera detection device on Lowther Road, Virginia. The male was driving a Ford Falcon sedan and returned a medium range blood alcohol content reading of 0.084 percent. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date to face drink driving and other traffic related offences.

A 20-year-old male driving a blue Hyundai was directed into a Random Breath Test station on Lambrick Avenue, Palmerston at approximately 6.00 pm. The male returned a medium range blood alcohol content of 0.094 percent and was in the possession of two clip seal bags of cannabis. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date to face drink driving and possess a dangerous drug offence.

Police apprehended a 47-year-old male on Whitewood Road, Howard Springs driving a Ford Falcon sedan about 6.00 pm. The male returned an extremely high blood alcohol reading of 0.288 percent. He was bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 19th March.

At approximately 11.45 pm a 46-year-old male driving a Toyota Hilux utility was directed into a Random Breath Test station on Kalymnos Drive Karama. The male returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.166 percent. He was bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 19th March.
