Members of the Commander's Tactical Team are investigating the theft of a safe and a quantity of cash from the Anglicare Office at Wanguri Shopping Centre, Wanguri.

The theft occurred between late on Saturday 21 February and the early hours of Monday morning (23 February). Entry was gained through a side door and a large brown safe measuring 1 1/2 metres x 1 metre containing a quantity of cash was removed from the premises.

A white utility was also seen in the area in the early hours of Monday morning and police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen this vehicle, or any suspicious persons or activity, to call 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
