Police are urging a male cyclist that was in the vicinity of the Rapid Creek Bridge around 3:50 pm yesterday to contact police.

It is alleged that an altercation took place near the bridge, resulting in the death of a 49-year-old female.

It is believed that the male assisted other witnesses at the scene and police would like him to contact them on 131 444.
