Police attended a disturbance at the Casuarina Shopping Square precinct at about 3.00 pm yesterday.

Numerous fights broke out amongst the group it is estimated there was 200-300 youths in the area. 27 Police officers were dispatched to the shopping precinct to restore order.

Police will be taking a zero tolerance approach to incidents like these with trespass and summary infringement notices to be issued and summons or arrest charges to be laid.
