At about 11.25 pm last night police intercepted a 45-year-old male on Victoria Avenue in Grey. The man driving a silver Holden Commodore returned a positive blood alcohol content reading of 0.154 percent and will be charged with driving with a high range blood alcohol content.

A 25-year-old male was apprehended this morning at about 1.15 am driving a black Daihatsu Terios on Cavalcade Road in Humpty Doo. The man returned a blood alcohol content reading of 0.157 percent. He will be charged with driving with medium range blood alcohol content and drive while unlicensed.

Both males will appear in Darwin Magistrate's Court at a later date.
