At approximately 1:00 am this morning a gold Ford Fairmont station wagon entered a road block at the Katherine Weighbridge where it was subjected to a search. As a result of the search three bags of cannabis weighing a total of 1552 grams was located and seized.

Both men were conveyed to Katherine Watch House where they were charged with the following offences:

Supply Cannabis Commercial Quantity
Possess Cannabis Commercial Quantity

They are due to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 21 April 2009.
