Members of the Commanders Tactical Team and the Youth Crime Unit apprehended two males aged 13 and 19-years-old in Katherine yesterday.

Police received information from the public and located the males at a residence in Katherine, following the assault of a 35-year-old man in Palmerston on 3 May.

The victim told police that around 10.00 pm he was approached by a large group of youths at the Palmerston Skate who allegedly assaulted and robbed him after asking him for cigarettes.

Darwin investigators were sent to Katherine and conveyed the males back to Darwin where the adult is expected to be charged with aggravated assault today.

The youth has been remanded in custody and is currently assisting police with their investigation.

These two males are the last two offenders wanted in relation to the incident.
