Katherine Police have charged a 25-year-old man in relation to the death of a 21-year-old woman at Rock hole Community near Katherine.

It is alleged that the woman, who cannot be named for cultural reasons, was assaulted on Friday night by the man during a domestic dispute and later died at the scene.

He was arrested and charged with murder and kill unborn child and remanded in custody to appear in Katherine Magistrate's Court today.
