Police are on the look out for assorted electrical cabling off-cuts after a large amount was stolen on the weekend.

Police received a report yesterday just after 11:30am a quantity of electrical cabling off-cuts had been taken from a worksite in Alice Springs.

It appears an unknown person has taken a large pile of electrical cable off-cuts to the value of $2000 from a worksite at Alice Springs Desert Knowledge sometime between Friday 22 May and yesterday morning.

The off-cuts are 2.5mm and 16mm orange circular electrical cable and vary between one and three meters long to the value of $2000.

People who may have any further information about the stolen electrical cable off-cuts are encouraged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
