An Alice Springs business has been targeted by thieves twice in one week.

Police received a report of an unlawful entry at the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens office and Bean Tree Cafe on Tunks Road overnight.

It appears offenders gained entry in the premises and stole a number of paintings, a didgeridoo, binoculars and quantity of food.

Police also received reports of an unlawful entry into the same premises on Saturday 22 May where it is believed the offender stole food from the Bean Tree Cafe.

Investigations into the unlawful entries continue and police are encouraging anyone who may find any of the stolen items discarded by offenders, to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
