Police arrested a 39-year-old man in relation to drug offences yesterday.

Members of the Drug Enforcement Section conducted a search of a business on Winnellie Road in Winnellie.

As a result the following items were located:

Eight clip seal bags containing 218.43 grams of cannabis; and
In excess of $50,000 in cash

After searching the business a subsequent search of the man's Leanyer home was conducted. An active hydroponics grow room was located along with

Five cannabis plants
Over four kilograms of cannabis

The man was later charged:

Possess cannabis - commercial quantity
Cultivate cannabis - trafficable quantity
Possess cannabis - trafficable quantity
Unlawfully supply cannabis to another
Receive property - commission of offence

He was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Magistrate's Court today.
