Police have arrested two men after they found a large quantity of drugs and cash in a car.

Detectives from the Drug Enforcement Section apprehended a Toyota Landcruiser utility in Lindsay Street, Darwin, just after 10am. A search of the car resulted in the seizure of 1000 Ecstasy tablets, a small quantity of cannabis and more than $16,000 in cash.

The two male occupants of the car, aged 24 and 21 were arrested and are expected to be interviewed later today.
