Two men aged 41 and 32, will appear the Alice Springs Magistrates Court today after police seized a quantity of drugs from their hotel room.

Members of the Drugs Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant on a room at a hotel on Gap Road at 10.30am yesterday.

Police found 461 grams of cannabis, digital scales and a number of empty clip seal bags.

Both men have been charged with possession of a trafficable quantity of cannabis and supplying a trafficable quantity of cannabis.

The 41-year-old was also charged with driving an unregistered vehicle and driving unlicensed.

Both will appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court today.

Police said the street value of the cannabis is more than $11,500.00.
