Police arrested a 24-year-old male early this morning in relation to drug offences.

At 3.25 am a 24-year-old male travelling to Darwin from Adelaide was apprehended by Police. A search of his luggage resulted in police locating 1000 Ecstasy Pills and 5 grams of Cocaine.

The male was arrested and conveyed the Darwin Police Station, where he was later charged with possess/supply commercial quantity of MDMA and possess supply trafficable quantity of cocaine.

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on Tuesday 09 June.
