Katherine Police arrested an 18-year-old female in relation to a number of offences this morning.

It is alleged the woman left a Katherine night club and drove her Holden Astra to a near by Service Station at about 1:45 am this morning.

The offender was then involved in a verbal altercation with two males aged 17 and 27 at the service station. The altercation resulted in the males being struck by the offender's vehicle.

Police apprehended the woman on Katherine Terrace and immediately conveyed her to Katherine Watch House. She was subjected to a breath analysis test and returned a positive blood alcohol reading of 0.137 percent.

The victims were conveyed by St John Ambulance to Katherine Hospital where one remains in a stable condition.

The woman is currently in police custody assisting with enquiries.

Acting Duty Superintendent Rob Jordan says, police will continue to get these dangerous drink drivers off the road.

"This is a clear example of stupidity on our roads and the types of dangers drunk road users pose to the public" he said.
