Major Crime detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 20-year-old man last night.

Detectives are reviewing CCTV footage of the earlier disturbance in Mitchell Street.
Detective Acting Superintendent Scott Pollock said the footage shows a number of vehicles were in the area at the time and witnesses to the disturbance are asked to come forward.

"It is quite possible drivers or passengers may have seen the group and may be able to assist us in piecing together the events prior to the men being taken into custody ," Det Act Supt Pollock said.
