Police have arrested a 16-year-old youth in relation to 13 unlawful entries of homes committed in the Tiwi area over the last six months.

The youth has been charged with 39 offences including 13 separate charges of stealing, criminal damage and unlawful entry.

Police investigations led them to stolen property at the youth's residence and he was subsequently arrested.

He was bailed to appear in the Darwin Youth Justice Court on 23 February 2010.

Investigations into the incidents are ongoing in order to apprehend additional offenders and recover further stolen property.
