Two marked police vans and four vehicles belonging to police members have been vandalised outside the Alice Springs police station early this morning.

It was discovered at approximately 2:45 am that windows in the vehicles had been smashed.

The two police vehicles were parked at the rear of the station and the members vehicles were parked on Parsons Street outside the front of the police station.

At this stage no offenders have been identified, however police will be conducting an investigation into the matter.
