A 15-year-old boy will appear in court in relation to numerous break-ins at licensed premises in Alice Springs.

Members of the Property Crime Reduction Unit arrested the youth yesterday following investigations into break-ins at the Gillen Club and Heavitree Gap Hotel in the past two weeks. He has been charged with three counts of unlawful entry and stealing and has been bailed to appear in the Youth Justice Court on April 6.

Police have also identified three 16-year-old males in relation to three of the break-ins. They will be considered for Youth Diversion.

Two other males aged 20 and 18 were arrested last week in relation to the unlawful entries and they will face court at a later date.
