A 26-year-old man will face court following the sexual assault of a woman in Tennant Creek last night.
Police received a report around 7.30pm last night that a 45-year-old woman had been assaulted at the Blue Skies Apartments in Patterson Street. The alleged offender was arrested by Tennant Creek detectives just after 9.30pm and has been charged with sexual assault and aggravated assault.
He has been remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court today.
