Alice Springs residents are advised that the River Watch for the Todd River is now at Level B following significant rain overnight.
This means that all the low level causeways remain closed and the Taffy Pick crossing is again closed. The Power and Water road has been re-opened for access to the Golf Course estate and the Stott River Bridge remains open for access to the East side.
Further rain is expected this afternoon and river levels will continue to be closely monitored. Further advices will be issued as they come to hand and motorists are urged to drive with caution and check road conditions before travelling.
