Police are investigating an incident, resulting in a car being located abandoned in Casuarina.

It is alleged that a house was unlawfully entered on Cycas Court in Moulden between Thursday and Saturday last week (01 and 03 April).

A number of items were stolen from the residence including game consoles, a lap top computer and a set of car keys.

Early this morning police received reports that a gun metal grey Honda Civic had been stolen from that residence sometime throughout the night.

At approximately 10:30 am this morning, police located the vehicle in the underground car park at Casuarina Shopping Square with minor damage.

Police urge anyone with information in relation to this incident, or who may have seen any suspicious activity in the abovementioned areas on those dates, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
