Four people have been injured after a car and caravan rolled on the Stuart Highway 70 kilometres north of Tennant Creek this morning

Police received a report just before 11.30 from a passing motorist advising that the occupants of the vehicle involved in the rollover had been injured and the wreckage was blocking the Stuart Highway.

No further details are available at this time however crash investigators from Tennant Creek are at the scene and the road could be blocked for up to five hours.

Motorists are urged to postpone any travel or exercise patience if they are delayed while investigators examine and measure the scene and the road is cleared.
