Major Crime Detectives are currently conducting investigations in relation to a suspicious death which occurred this morning.

It appears a 25-year-old man has died after allegedly being assaulted at Minmarama Park at about 9:00am this morning.

A crime scene was established this morning and investigators are currently interviewing witnesses.

A 43-year-old man is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
