Police are calling for witnesses into the unlawful entry and stealing of a yellow Monaro, after the stolen vehicle was located burnt out near Darwin River yesterday.

The Malak residence in Marshall Court was unlawfully entered between 8am and 5pm on Wednesday 5 May.

The offender/s cut through a lock on the front gate, before entering the house and stealing a laptop computer, a number of electrical items and a set of car keys.

Police received information from members of the public yesterday, resulting in the stolen car being found on Jenkinson Road.
