Please be advised the NT Fire and Rescue Service will be conducting controlled burns in the Hidden Valley area today.

The burning will take place along a section of Tiger Brennan Road between Hidden Valley and Amy Johnson Road.

Patrick Skewes from NTFRS advises drivers to take care when travelling around this area today as smoke may limit vision on some section of roads.

"Asthma sufferers are also urged to stay indoors and away from the smoke."
