Please be advised the NT Fire and Rescue Service will be conducting controlled burns in Knuckey Lagoon today.

The burning will take place in a section of bushland between Stevens Road and Deloraine Road.

Patrick Skewes from NTFRS advises drivers again to take care when travelling around the effected areas today as smoke may limit vision on some section of roads.

"Asthma sufferers are also urged to stay in well ventilated areas away from the smoke."
